Coach Education

The club's SFA community coaches deliver to local coaches who are keen to progress up the coaching ladder. The courses are hugely popular and attract around 700 participants' year.


McDonalds Community Club Project
The McDonalds Community Club Project is a new initiative which will see a member of the Scottish Football Association coaching staff work individually with the club coaches of a grassroots club within the city for approximately six months. The project is in association with McDonalds, who part fund the programme.

Positive Coaching Scotland
PCS works on creating a culture in Scotland where young players are developed in a positive, safe environment, where they learn to win through effort and where valuable life lessons are developed.

Quality Mark
The Scottish FA quality mark is an initiative designed to support grassroots development in youth football. The club's coaches work with and support local grassroots clubs and schools to increase youth and community participation as well as enhancing player, coach and volunteer development.

Regional In-service Training
Free additional Coach Education Inservices ensuring the implementation of the SFA National Player Pathway.
