Over 65s

A significant focus of the work undertaken by AFCCT is to develop and increase wider community engagement well beyond 'just' football. This work is done in close partnership with other like-minded groups and organisations, involving participants of all ages, some aged 100+. AFCCT have programmes addressing dementia, inactivity, obesity, social exclusions, social deprivation and more.

Dementia Friendly Programmes
Integrating those with dementia, their families & carers into our main stream wellbeing programmes. AFCCT support people living with dementia & carers to access our physical activity sessions. Health Walks
Offering support & opportunity for members of the community over the age of 65, offering Health Walks from Pittodrie and around the city centre, visiting places of interest in & around Aberdeen. Open to anyone over the age of 65, all sessions are free, for more information please contact nicola.graham@afccommunitytrust.org
Techno Gym
Gym based exercise for over 65s using hydraulic resistance machines which can aid & assist physical activity, for more information please contact nicola.graham@afccommunitytrust.org
