Children

A significant focus of the work undertaken by AFCCT has been to develop and increase wider community engagement well beyond 'just' football. This work is done in close partnership with other like-minded groups and organisations, involving participants of all ages, some aged 100+. AFCCT have programmes addressing dementia, inactivity, obesity, social exclusions, social deprivation and more.


Breakfast Club

Aberdeen FC Community Trust work in partnership with AFC, Sodexo Prestige & Aberdeen Sports Village to provide a before school programme for 20 p5-p7 pupils from Seaton Primary School. The children receive weekly coaching sessions at Aberdeen Sports Village as well as receiving a healthy home-cooked meal prepared by the club chef. Footy Tea

Junior Match Day Club
Children aged 5-12 can join Junior Match Day Club & receive an hour of coaching at Aberdeen Sports Village prior kick-off, AFCCT staff then take everyone to Pittodrie to watch the match. Torry United
Funded through the participatory budget & chosen by youngsters in Torry, primary 6 & 7 pupils from Walker Road & Tullos Primary School take part in an hour long football session, followed by a healthy eating input once a week. Pupils from the schools are joined by 1st year pupils from Torry Academy with the aim to help build relationships between the schools & help with the transition from Primary School to Secondary School.
