A significant focus of the work undertaken by AFCCT has been to develop and increase wider community engagement well beyond 'just' football. This work is done in close partnership with other like-minded groups and organisations, involving participants of all ages, some aged 100+. AFCCT have programmes addressing dementia, inactivity, obesity, social exclusions, social deprivation and more.


Football Fans in Training

Football Fans In Training is a health and wellbeing initiative targeting male & female Dons fans aged 35-65 that are keen to lose weight. FFIT covers healthy eating, portion control, drinking and increasing physical activity through various practical and classroom sessions delivered by AFCCT coaches. Stop, Quit and Be Fit!

Aberdeen FC Community Trust run a smoking cessation & physical activity programme in partnership with NHS Grampian. The 12-week initiative introduces over 18s who currently smoke to different techniques on how to stop smoking as well as offering physical activities delivered by AFCCT.
